Captain's Ball Comp!

Yesterday was Captain's Ball comp!(: All of us were hoping we could get champions but in the end we failed ): Darn =x
The day started off with project's day! But after that all of us left early due to the captain's ball competition (: Slacked in NP room till everyone was here then we went off to bedok(at first we thought pasir ris sec was here). OMG when we reached there, there was only tampines sec and wow so we had to go to tampines to find pasir ris sec after calling the CI over there. -.- All of us were chatting and strolling slowly cause of the amount of time we had left. (We had told the CI that we will be reaching latest by 3pm) In the end, we reached there at 2.30pm! Yay we were not late at all (: The mood was quite tense and the two teams sitting beside us were Ngee Ann sec and Victoria School. The first match for us was against Changkat Changi Sec(dunno how to spell) and we won 19-1 (: Second match was against springfield and we won 25-2 (: Third match was scary cause victoria told us chai chee was strong =x But then we couldn't care much and we tried our best (: we won 17-8 i tink (: FINAL match was against East View Sec. They were really strong and big sized, hard to play against. But not bad we managed to tie at the start! (: but i guess if i had concentrate more we could have won =x sorry guys D: Cramps here and there T.T =(

I tink raffles girls did a great job eh (: at least against unfair competition =x guess sometimes competition might not be fair ): cheer up! (:

HRC!

HRC held on Saturday!
All the challenges were supposed to be fun but i guess CIs screwed the whole thing up D:
Did the Dangling-log thingy, flying fox, IRC and tunnel (:
Tunnel was same as last year D: so no more excitement and fun ><
Flying fox was nice! (: followed what mr ong said and jumped out backwards xD
and the Dangling-log thingy was so unfair D: it's like some of the people got more time and some got less T.T and i only managed to go up till the 4th one >.> boo =( CI's fault?
IRC was screwed up too - Didn't managed to complete the commando crawl ): failed halfway omg >< Nick tang did an amazing stunner and "entangled" the safety line from the ropes by removing it from him. ._. and CIs scolded him lol.
Blah almost everyone got sunburnt from HRC -.- Pulau Ubin is just too hot xP

Haha i shall just talk about the last few days (:
20 December!
Went out to bike xD Duxuan, Yunshu, Chunqi and i were supposed to meet at pasir ris mrt at 11am xD but Duxuan, Yunsu and i went to pasir ris park first to meet.. Chunqi didnt know how to meet us so we spent like half an hour talking on the phone with chunqi to lead him to pasir ris park >< haha then we ate at subway (: we went back pasir ris park to rent bikes.. its $6 for 2 hours.. Yunshu and i learnt how to ride a bicycle at the start xP then all of us started riding around the park xP In the end, we went to the beach and walk arnd xD Lala quite a nice day and i reached home at 4.20 xD
21st December!
Went out with Jonathan, Kliven, Chunqi at the start to seng kang xD gonna play basketball (: Zhiming came like one hour later.. Haha then we played match with a group of "adults" meaning people older than us xD At the start we played with 2 of the group.. And it was me, jon and kliven vs chunqi and the two guys.. We won 11-2 (: Then after that when zhiming came, the whole group of 5 ppl played with us.. Full court match ><><>< Reunion dinner haha.. Then the rest went jonathan's house xD End of today(:

Thursday!
Went out for badminton!(: with Sherm, Joyce, Hanissa, Chunqi, Jonathan and Kliven.. Went to parkway parade for lunch at foodcourt first.. The girls were already waiting for us>< (sorry!) Then after eating, the guys(me, kliven, jonathan and chunqi) went to Giant to get some drinks and snacks to have while playing badminton(: Then we walked to the marine parade cc to start playing xDD The 2 of the courts were empty so we got to play doubles haha.. I was teamed with joyce at the start and kliven was teamed with shermaine, chunqi with hanissa and jonathan alone.. Quite fun to play badminton in doubles haha.. Then took a break from doubles and we seperated to playing among ourselves(me, kliven, chunqi and jonathan played in one court, joyce, hanissa and sherm in the other) Played for 5 hours omg xD the last hour was the match between Jonathan, Kliven, Shermaine and me, Chunqi, Hanissa/Joyce. Hanissa had to leave early =x The match was fun :DDD Kliven kept on saying QU SI! then he will smack the shuttle onto the floor/net xDD funny :DDD lala quite a balanced match i must say xP I played till my hands got blister! and my racket the netting got screwed DD: =( Hmm great day i must say :DDD But not the best day of my life xP
Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
Went to malaysia xP Spammed playing and doing everything i can there :DDD Didnt sleep much on the coaches to and fro cause i was thinking of some stuff xP

Quiz comp training haha.. Slack slack and slack cause there was no senior.. >.> Hmm after quiz comp training, we(me, qingyang, tzehao and ben tang) went to bugis to go seoul garden for lunch!(: met up with tingyit and zhenquan to do so xP haha so funny when tingyit called zhen quan.. All of us were there except for zhenquang so tingyit called him..

Blah haven't been going out lately =x and its due to some npcc related activities x.x Commitment i guess >.> Today was 2nd class drill badge test! The test was supposedly from 9 to 12 plus but in the end, ended at 10am >.> efficiency i guess xP Quite lame too since there is only 6 ppl taking this test =x all 6 of us passed the 2nd class drill test!(: CI Da yan kept on telling me that i will fail at the start.. boo.. in the end i got the same marks as tingyit(: phew he must be super lenient =x Holidays gonna end quite soon T.T must cherish (:

Shall start talking about my holidays from the day i landed in singapore onwards(:
SATURDAY!
Landed on singapore at 5:30am(Home sweet home!(:) Went with family to eat roti prata..(get to eat it finally!) then had to rush home and get stuff for exco retreat ><>< thx to the fact that i am passing him my sim card (: with about 20 yuan left.. After lunch went back for discussion and the day ended at 6 T.T went for dinner afterwards(:
SUNDAY!
Went with tzehao, zhenquan, tingyit and chunqi for sakae sushi buffet!(: to celebrate the end of BSC supposedly(other than chunqi). Qingyang was sick and couldn't come ><>.> after almost everyone was giving up, Chunqi started raping tingyit -.- and we did alot of funny stuff >< Buffet ended at 6 but we went home a bit earlier ^^
MONDAY!
Had 2nd class drills training for those that went BSC.. Reached school at 8.30 to get rifle keys from mr tan ><><>.> all of us got to command the others xD jokes came about at times..(Oops) Training ended at 11.30!(: then we decided we should go canteen eat xD went home afterwards xP
TUESDAY!
Went out with zhiming, kliven and chunqi to play basketball and watch movie. The venue was at yishun xD We were supposedly meeting at 10am but sadly kliven was always late -.- Then we went to play basketball till around 12.. ><><>< so asked private questions and we all went home xD Fun day i guess (:

Blah been in beijing for 5days le >< Barely survived this few days but i still did xD
This few days are super cold ><>< so have to wear super thick layers of clothing! =(
Have been visiting places this few days and attending a few china studies lessons with the beijing teachers xD Lessons are generally quite interesting xP and the places are quite interesting with souvenirs to buy xD have been spending lots of money this few days on them >.> I am still missing ppl and hoping that the 35 days will end as soon as possible >< if not i will die from missing them <3 =( haha xP

Ice Skating @ Kallang!(:

Wow went ice skating at kallang today xP with duxuan, sherm, yunshu, jonathan, kliven, shaun, zhi ming, yuan feng, chun qi. Met at 9.30am at dhoby gaut mrt station and took bus 16 to Kallang leisure park xD Ice skating experience was nice xD 2nd time skating =x Luckily I did not have bruises or blisters after ice skating but i must admit my heel was quite painful after ice skating =x After ice skating we went to buy movie tickets. Yuanfeng had to leave and we bought tickets for Max Payne 3:10pm show. Ate at food court afterwards(: By the time we ate finish it was only 1:10 so had to spend some time walking around aimlessly =x And finally was the show. The show was VERY violent i supposed >< shooting and killing -.- blah at least i enjoyed being in the cinema xP Haha and all of us went home afterwards -.-

11/10/08 is the best day of my life!(: Watched mama mia at 4.20pm on sat. Lots of time before the movie so had to walk around shopping mall xD Time flies~ and i shall skipped to the par whereby i went out with zhiming, chunqi, jonathan and kliven. MAF'08

Friday night was fun xD Mid-Autumn Festival 2008. Everyone was working very hard to get the event going =) Love the OT for doing their best in the process! =) Turn out of the event was better than expected and everything is better than normal xD Hmm... At 1.20pm, didnt feel like eating so went to the SALT centre with chunqi and zhiming. Found out that NP room was opened due to road marshall xD so stoned in the room and chunqi and zhiming mugged=.= Was trying to help out in MAF'08 cause chongwe told me that lots of things are undone. But apparently everything turned out good in the end. Sec 2s who were doing road marshalling was making exceptionally lots of noise and EATING in Np room.. Sadist chongwe of course wanted to teach them a lesson=.= Sec2s were told to fall in outside NP room, to get scolding =.= Shalln't elaborate... Hmm then hongkang and yingjie came with the DJ system and everyone in OT started taking tables, decorating the table, setting up the DJ system and everything. Then last minute everyone ate dinner together before getting ready for MAF'08 =) Then Du xuan called and me and chunqi went to bring them to SALT centre =)
Maf was supposed to start later so me and chunqi brought RGS girls around, they were( if i remember correctly ;p) Du xuan, Shermaine, Yun Shu, Amelia and Jaslyne. After the touring around, they started playing the games stalls from guessing the pomelo's weight. Super funny when amelia and jaslyne was "fighting" to get their answers from weilin and hongkee. Shall skip the games part and talked abt the "supposedly" scary night walk with lantern. However, there was more than 10 ppl and how can it be scary? x.x lol. So after the night walk, Yun Shu wanted to play Truth or Dare so we sat down in circle and used pen to spin xD haha Chun Qi was made to say he is gay and Lixu( one guy from SJI) was made to do pole dance with nick tang as the pole xD and say he fantasize about cheryl koh? haha so funny.. I was made to do push ups which was not dare and was if i can do it =.= hmm Yun Shu had to go up to yuan feng to say hi xD Then was lucky draw which was obviously not really lucky cause they purposely chose Du xuan as the first prize winner and for me to give her the prize xD The girls wanted to go for Dupper but all of us had to clean up, so no choice T.T Thanks Nick tang and soo wee for escorting the girls to the bus stop =) So clean up was carrying tables and chairs back and tearing everything off xP After we were done, it was already near 10pm =x Luckily shaun's dad was fetching =) haha what a wonderful MAF'08 i supposed =x Thanks to the OTs!!! xD

Interesting things happens for the past few WEEKS that i nvr blog abt..
First up is the NCO camp.. Super interesting.. Get to know more about how to scold ppl... =.= esp from CIs... I think we got pumped quite a lot and on the 2nd night the CIs and those NCOs helping out gave up on us.. I think cause we had totally no teamwork or something.. Dam sad =( Breakfast was bread with peanut butter spread and biscuits.. Lunch and dinner = maggie mee.. We were screwed for multiple reasons.. No teamwork, no integrity, no punctuality, no skills, no replies... Haiz.. So sad.. =(

Hmm another interesting thing i guess is ndp ba.. Since we have quite a few rehearsals for it.. Hmm the whole parade went well and no one made obvious mistakes i guess.. Maybe i did and i didnt noe o.o Haha good job to all the GOH and supporting contigents cause Mr Tan praised them xD haha "one of the best NDP ever" xD

Haha and another thing is, he act like he dun have anything in his inbox(message) but when ppl say to exchange handphones, he will hide his phone X.x. Lastly, most interesting haha, the last time i checked his message inbox, he had more than 10 girls' name in his inbox.. Lol xD

Lol Survival Training Camp was on the 10 June 2008. We fell in at the SALT centre, but sadly, ppl were late. -.- After waiting for the latecomers, we took bus to Changi and take boats from the jetty to pulau ubin. I was in Group F(Fillet-O-Nemo). We were the biggest group and also the logistics group. So, we had to prepare everything such as the tent equipments for the campers. My group includes Swee Hoon, Ian, Jing Han, Joyce, Shaheda, Hui Ping, Du Xuan, Zhiming, Chu Xi, Camelia, Alastair, Yan Seng, Seng Peing, Benjamin, Gerald Zhong Han and me. First day we had ice breakers and started off with treasure hunt which is quite boring -.- After which, we had our tent pitching and i was in the same tent as Yanseng, Seng Peing, Bnejamin and Gerald. Dinner was rations and we were supposed to eat maggi mee but apparently there was not enuff time for me to eat =( After dinner, we gathered in a semi circle around a few CIs to have our mock campfire. we basically revise all the cheers we had learnt and maybe learn a few new ones. We discussed about our group name and performance during the free time. But first night, there was a heavy storm and my tent fell =.= so all the guys had to sleep together in dormatory due to the storm.

2nd day, we woke up early and when walking to the toilets, we saw "leaves" on the floor and to our amaze, they were flies =.= Then our group had PT which was pumpings, sit up, knee lift, squats and jumping jacks. Then our group had our breakfast and thanks to the rain, our fire starting session was changed to indoor and our CI only can talk to us about it and not demonstrate to us... So sad.. T.T After which we had our jetty jump which we jumped into the sea from about 1m height =.= so we got wet for nothing. Then we had our tunnel activity which girls screamed alot and boys completed faster =) Our CI then gave us permission to bathe before we went for lunch. Lunch was usual and after lunch, we had shelter building and CI gave marshmallows to us before we went into a mosquito-filled forest to set up our tent with ponchos, so all of us came out with mosquito bites. Our last activity was IRC(Intermmediate Rope Challenge) which Group F was the last to take. After all the activities was the camp fire. Our group thought up a plan which includes me and zhiming being gay and yanseng being a dwarf =.= so the skit was overall quite well for us. The cheers for the campfire was quite screwed up and not coordinated. Then we slept in our tent which we set up before one of the tent inspection.

3rd day, starting was PT/ RT lol we had dog and bone =.= dog and bone was not fair cause CI keep putting the "bone" near the other group. Then we were given time to have our breakfast before the clean up session. Our group was assigned to clean the mesh tins and the stove. I tink we were given the easiest job and after we had done, we had to go and help the other groups in cleaning up. The whole cleaning session ended at about 12 noon. We distributed the left over rations which was alot compared to other groups. And after debrief, Mr Ong wanted to take photos of all the units in area 15. Mr ong also gave us a debrief and ice pops to each of us. it was super nice of him lol =) So we had the motivation to chiong back to the jetty all the way with the ice pops in our hands. and STC ended with cheers from our unit =)

Woah.. This week had been super FULFILLING with every single day of the weekdays filled up with NPCC stuff. Monday and Tuesday was Unit Camp and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is PIR (PRE-INAUGURATION REPORT) Assessment plus interview... Totally stressed up that week. Firstly, Unit Camp was organised by us (me, tingyit, chongwe, nick tang, weilin and javan). The camp overall was quite fun xD and it can be seen from the feed back of the cadets. Wow almost everyone said it was fun haha. Being in the organising team was not easy at all =.= Kena Zham by people and walking around to ensure nothing goes wrong at all. I was only a referee for a basketball competition and it was totally fun! Lol.. Cause referee can join the game xD. Ok then a day of the unit camp ended with Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi and solo night. xD The nxt day was slack i had to admit =.= The day started at 7am and i was FORCED to lead the morning jog. T.T haha following that was breakfast and our breakfast was cereal, milk and juice thx to weilin. Then it was the possible "impossible challenge" and I was patrolling with Chongwe while taking Videos(<<>.<) Haha then it started raining and we had to cancel the most fun part of the camp (street soccer challenge) T.T but cadets got to go home early haha. Haiz after a while the results of the best group of the camp was announced and everyone was roaring to go home -,.- And thats the end for unit camp =)

But so sad nxt day was PIR interview T.T We had to be in full uniform! The panel of interviewers were BIG4 of hcinpcc (Haojie, remus(left early and hongliang took over him), melvin and cyril) and Mr ong... Super nervous man... They questioned till very hard to answer. T.T nvm abt that day... Cause at least its over xD Thursday was every worse... PIR assessment leh... We were tested on EVERYTHING in NPCC that we can possibly know. FOOT DRILLS, CANE DRILLS, RIFLE DRILLS, PARADE PROCEDURE, FLAG POLE ERECTION, TENT PITCHING, KNOTS AND LASHINGS, TOPOGRAPHY. SURVIVAL COOKING.. Omg i wonder how i managed to pass all those tests =.= So much things to study and we were informed one day before on what was tested =.= Hopefully i can be an NCO =) Friday was a continuation of Thurs cause too much things to test le... Torture T.T Haha at least i tink even if i dun pass, i still hope to be an NCO... xD Yay at least its over =)

Wow today was sec1 affirmative ceremony... O.o.. One of the Game/Group masters... Sec1s from area 15 came. Quite slack just have to play/intro games to those sec1... Games got Double Wacko, Captain's ball, blind charades =.= and Balance yourselves... The group i was in charge of was group 1 and i slacked with tingyit almost introducing all the games... Lol... Looks like my group de ppl were enthu in captain's ball but not really other games =.= so sad =.= I tink the sec1s' favourite part was the debrief + refreshment part lol... =.= Tingyit sabo me.. Bad... =(

Gotta start updating my blog... =.= On thursday, there was founder's day road marshalling... Everything seems fine at the start, but when we went out of LT2, it started raining =.= gg.. Some went back to Np room for umbrella, while the others went to their positions. Unfortunately, i dun have an umbrella. So we (zhiming, junrong, tse yean and i) went under sheltered area to MARSHALL... Dam funny... In the end, Mr tan came with the umbrella and helped us marshall instead... =.= Luckily, it was drizzling at the later part of the day... So we can start marshalling already... Just basically did hand signs till 9.30am... After that went LT2 for NH badge retest... Before the test did revision with clement =) and that helps... After that some of the squad went for soccer while the rest went for LAN... I went to play soccer as shaun brought a ball... 5 on 5... i was with shaun, kaichin, jiaming and qingyang against runze, junrong, junxian, cheng an and pinyi... Lol... so we won =.= haha but i did not play well cause of the slippery ground... In fact, no one played well... After that went to pass up hw then went to LAN... Was waiting for chongwe to come if not no fun xD... But i got impatient and started playing with the rest of the squad.. it was 3v4 and i was in the 3 person team =.= haha but luckily we were winning... I wanted to get more kills bfore the game ends but chongwe came and told me to stop=.= so played with chongwe they all... Got pwn-ed sia... 3 games only one game got first but everyone left game =.= den the other two game lost to chongwe... lol... We found out there was a trend, the team with nick would lose eventually.... LOL... and i was teamed with nick for the last two games =.= Luckily still can get 2nd xD.. Haha... there was new ppl coming to play dota like weilin and tingyit... As i was in a game and weilin was beside me, i only can helped weilin if not my game gg... Sorry tingyit! den weilin started pwn-ing =.= den my game ended den i went to help tingyit... Lol... I was trying to balance to game but found out i made weilin too imba... Luckily i still killed him den tingyit continue playing... Haha they played among themselves so that they would not die too much... First time marh... After that went with hongkang, yanseng, chongwe and andy to the "food court" to eat... Lol we were having food marathon between me and chongwe... Both of us ordered western food plus stredded chicken noodles... And eat eat eat... After that we were talking a lot of crap and i was always the target for niao =.= diaozz... Talked for like 1 hour... Then after that went home... Wat a long day haha xD

Ytd was campcraft comp......... started training from 9.30am... it was a super nervous day esp when we know abt the twine =.= But mr ong was kind enuff to treat us more than $400 of lunch and dinner =) so good of him xD team 1 was fast, just that the stupid nylon rope cant go up... T.T team 2 was the same but resorted to half raising flag bfore raising the pole... sad... T.T nvm at least all is over =)

Woots its chinese new year le xD... which means i get to have ang bao money... yay! Wednesday nvr get to go back to pri school cause my pri school 10.30 closed le... in fact, none of my pri school classmates managed to go back.. sad....T.T.. Instead, went to LAN with chongwe and his gang... xDDD... played till 3plus =) Haiz, i tink my ang bao money also not alot... T.T... The first three days till today had been days of me busily collecting ang bao money... Still, not alot... =(.. Haha sad... But at least i get to keep them and i like that =)

What a rush it was on friday.... zzz... firstly some of the people involved were released at 2pm and we had to reach ACS barker at 2.30pm.... Somemore, it takes time to change and take bus there........ In the end, we took taxi there so we wont be late =.=. Reached there and saw nynp. st joseph and acs barker ppl waiting le... den we board the bus.... Reach there put down stuff and change to half uniform.......................... BUT... after that was meal session... so we went to eat... Policemen are rich people.... Can see from the meal... burger, fries and drink... After meal went to drill, abit funny cause after eating den do drills =.= For drills, we did BASIC drills... ZZZ... sediya, senandiri, kekenan lurus and hentak.
Something dam interesting happened sia... We waited lyk one and a half hours for the bus T.T... We go HTA always dam late go home de la....... Z....While waiting, we talked to the nynp ppl.... nth to do marh... we reached ACS barker at abt 8pm i tink... wth..... after that, me tingyit and nick tang went to kap to eat..... In the end, 9pm go home.... reached home at abt 10+pm... Wat a great day...

Campcraft comp training... As usual we practiced and improve our timings... We had new gadget and shelter designs and had to adapt to it once again. the designs were now finalised.. we trained till 12noon and went for a one and a half hour break, which was spent at pooside... the trg was not so tough after all... After the break, our timings dropped as expected.. the day ended with debrief by CIs and mr tan suggested for us to sleep over on fridays so as to start the campcraft comp on saturday ealier.. how fun is that o.O?

Woah today so special... Must celebrate birthday for those bornt in january, very impromptu... as i had to keep a promise... Early in the morning go meet mr tan to have the birthday cakes put into "his " refrigerator and den put titbits and soft drinks into NP room. rush here and there. o.O
*Lessons till 1.20pm*
After lessons, go SALT centre see nick tang preparing his uniform... I guess there is a first time for everything. Cant blame cause he is in HP... Training starts at 2.20pm... During trg, it rained, so sad... Everyone was drenched..T.T.. After everything, we were dismissed. It was time for the "surprise" birthday celebration... The surprise part turned out in vain as i had to tell everyone to stay back for the birthday... Thus, everyone knew before the celebration... But at least the turn out was not bad, i guess more than 30 ppl came for the celebration... squad spirit!!! There were 4 birthday boys!! Chongwe, Soo wee, Nick tang and Javan... Sang birthday song, cut cakes, eat... After eating everyone went home... The long day ended..

Woah today reached home at 10pm... Zzz? lol... Campcraft comp training... Came late todae just cause of CSE!!! Haiz... Today shelter team was doing component training while waiting for those CSE ppl... so sorry to drag whole team down... zzz.. somemore mr tan still come scold us... wth... training was almost the same again.. Doing shelter, pumpings and having water breaks xD.. After whole thing wash poncho... and mr ong had something to tell us(more like discussing with us). The trainings are going to change just because of CSE... so sad... after the whole thing went to eat with nick and yingjie... met almost all our seniors there... we waited for the seniors lol... and ended up going home at 9pm!!! den take bus go home... wat a long day!!! ZZZ!!! time to sleep...
